Hey, I'm Todd
ABOUT ME
I am a digital designer. I began my journey in computer-based design during high school when I acquired Photoshop. A few months later, I created my first website and went on to design banners and websites for online communities. After high school, I pursued a degree in Computer Graphic Design at the University of Waikato in New Zealand.
After completing my degree, I worked in New Zealand for a few years in web and advertising agencies. During this time, I created and coded websites, helped design brands, and gained valuable experience that set the stage for my later career.
Since then, I have worked in London, Berlin, Vancouver, and Kuwait as a UX, UI, and product designer. I have designed websites, iOS and Android apps, and web apps, and have facilitated user and usability testing workshops, design handoffs, briefing devs, and information architecture.
For the past few years, I have moved into design leadership. I have been leading designers on global teams, working with them to set and achieve their goals while providing constant feedback.
I have also worked with companies to create and elevate their brands and align it with their business goals. This helps keep the visual side of my brain engaged and balances out the more logic-driven UX side.
When I’m not practising design I love playing the drums, listening to and creating music, snowboarding, wakeboarding, travelling, Djing, playing guitar and synthesizers.
