Letterpad is a blogging platform created by my ex-flatmate and very good friend, so we worked while consuming substantial amounts of wine during lockdown.

As this is a passion project, we have no stakeholders to please except each other. Our goal is to make the cleanest (design) and most lightweight (speed) blogging platform that has innovative features that rival the heavyweights in the industry

Our aim is for the design to be inclusive but not at the expense of aesthetics. With that in mind, we’ve developed a full visual langauge based off open source technologies on both the back end, and in terms of design.

Leveraging the best free fonts, imagery from Unsplash and guidelines from material design, we’ve created a product essentially for free (minus our time, and the cost of wine) that anybody can use or edit, as the whole project is completely open source.
